Certified Trauma Practitioner Louise Osborn, MS, LMHC, offers a personalized one-to-one counseling approach to her private practice clients, as well as patients of Dr. Osborn’s practice when requested. Her integrated range of services is offered to:
- Children (age 8-11)
- Teens/tweens (11-13)
- Adolescents to teenagers (14-19)
- Young, middle and older adults
By combining cognitive behavioral (CBT), neurofeedback, and solution-focused brief (SFBT) therapies, her counselling solutions are laser-focused to solve specific behavioral issues. Mrs. Osborn serves a diverse clientele with traditional and specialized services. She brings clients through a process of identifying resources and finding solutions to solve mental health complications by guiding each via coaching mechanisms. She is able to help clients put a situation into focus and see it from another perspective while exploring one’s self and finding sustained peace. Her services include, but are not limited to, the following, of which she has a high rate of success:

In addition, she offers important tools, such as behavioral assessments, which allows an important baseline to be developed as part of her Patient Care Plan. Experienced and known for her patience and supportive care, Louise puts her patients at ease. She also works diligently with patient providers to ensure the correct medication is prescribed, which is a real convenience and time-saver to her patients.
Mrs. Osborn received a B.S. in Biology/Pre-Med from Cornell University followed by a M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Louise is a Certified Trauma Practitioner. Her private practice is located at the Center for Health & Sports Medicine in a shared office space with her husband, Ross Osborn, MD. The office is centrally located in Bartram Oaks Walk on the corner of Race Track Road and SR13, which is easily accessible on the NW side of St. Johns, FL, near Durbin Creek, Fruit Cove, Julington Creek, Nocatee and just across the bridge from Mandarin, Southside and Jacksonville.
Originally from St. Augustine, Louise enjoys an active life. She balances her practice with her family and community volunteer work, which has included the Junior League of St. Augustine, St. Augustine Society, Flagler Hospital Tumor Board, Muscular Dystrophy Association – Lock-up, and the former Jacksonville Super Bowl Committee. She is proud to have served as a Guardian Ad Litem, as well. She and Dr. Osborn have four children ranging in age from four to twenty. When time allows, she loves going to the beach, painting, surfing, reading, horseback riding and just relaxing by watching the rain.

The average cost per session ranges between $70 and $150. A sliding scale is available, and Louise accepts insurance. Accepted payment methods include cash, check, MasterCard and Visa. Please verify your health insurance coverage when booking your first appointment.
