Meet the RISE Coaches
Ross Osborn, MD, FAAFP – Dr. Osborn is board certified in family and sports medicine, whose real passion lies in helping motivated people enhance their lives. He has achieved fellowship status in the American Academy of Family Physicians, recognizing his commitment to his patients, to teaching and the field of medicine. As a sports medicine physician, he has worked at every level of competition, professional, collegiate, Olympic, high school and recreational, and is himself a former collegiate tennis player, who was twice named Academic All-American.
Fred Burnett, MEd, ATC – Fred previously was employed as the Assistant Athletic Director for Student Athlete Performance at the University of North Florida, overseeing the Sports Medicine and Strength and Conditioning department. Has over 20 years of experience working with Division 1 athletes at Michigan State University, Auburn University, The University of Texas and The University of North Florida. He is a nationally certified state licensed athletic trainer, and a National Academy of Sports Medicine Performance Enhancement Specialist.
Besmir Muskaj, ATC – Besmir completed his degree in athletic training at the University of North Florida, and worked with their men’s and women’s tennis teams and men’s soccer team, prior to joining our team at the Center for Health and Sports Medicine. He has helped direct the rehabilitation of athlete’s at our facility since 2014, and specializes in injury prevention and treatment, in addition to the rehabilitation of athlete’s.
Pete Soulis, BS, EP-C – Pete completed his degree in Exercise Physiology at the University of North Florida and was president of the UNF Exercise Science Student Association. He has been a lifelong athlete, competing in baseball, football, wrestling, weightlifting and cross-fit. He is a CrossFit Level 1 Certified Coach and USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sports Performance Coach.
